The remotion of melanic stains from gingiva using the ultrasonic CVDentus tips was discovered by Dra Débora Ayala from São Paulo.
The technique consists on the abrasion of gingival epitelium with CVDentus tips operating at maximum ultrasonic power.
The remotion is fast, may be performed without the use of anesthesia and the bleeding is minimum.

Besides that the recovery is less traumatic.

With this technique Dra. Débora Ayala won the prize of best work of 2004 during the international conference, in Italy.
