Some examples of clinical cases are presented in this section. The objective is to show the great versatility of CVDentus tips. It is used in simple caries and old restoration removal. Removal of amalgamate

The abrasion of amalgamate is relatively slow. However, by the action of ultrasonic vibration it releases while it is still cutting. This makes the removal process quite efficient.

Amalgamate old restorations, small or large, may be removed with CVDentus ultrasonic tips. Amalgamates with infiltration are very easy to remove.

This movie shows a portion of an amalgamate that detaches entirely. The cutting of amalgamate is relatively slow, but if you segment it from side to side and down to the cavity floor, it looses the retention and it releases by ultrasonic vibration.
